TTI On-Site Verification & 30-Day Platform Review
A company profile tells you what a business says about itself. TTI’s on-site verification programme adds documented observations from an office visit and structured hands-on platform testing.
Our assessment covers a specified legal entity, office, and platform. Each report explains the work completed, the evidence collected, and the limits of our findings.

Verified firms are listed first, in their own group, with the badge beside their name.
Hosted by us and linked to your published report. It shows the year of approval, and it always shows the review’s current status, so an expired or withdrawn approval stops showing as verified.
Two kinds of assessment
Every profile on Trading Trust Index starts as research. Only companies that complete the programme below are shown as visited and tested, and an existing research-based profile never receives the badge automatically.
-
Research-based assessment
An assessment using documented public information and available sources. This does not imply an office visit or hands-on platform testing.
-
TTI On-Site Verification & 30-Day Platform Review
An assessment involving a physical office visit, meetings with company staff, identity and regulatory-record checks, and structured product testing over 30 days.
The process
- Application and scope: We identify the legal entity, office, platform, account type, and services to be assessed.
- Company and regulatory-record checks: We review relevant identity information and regulatory claims against available records.
- Office visit and staff meetings: A TTI representative visits the premises and meets relevant staff.
- Verified badge after the visit: Once our visit report is published and confirms a real, staffed office of the assessed company with a verified licence, the company receives the Verified badge, listing what we confirmed, for 12 months while the platform review continues.
- 30-day testing: We use the platform through a scheduled testing programme and document our experience.
- Private findings discussion: Before publication, the broker is entitled to a private call with TTI to discuss the platform findings, clarify observations, and identify anything that may have been missed during testing.
- Assessment and publication: We publish our findings, including concerns and unverified points.
- Badge decision: Companies meeting our published requirements receive a dated badge linked to their assessment.
Applications are handled by enquiry: application, scope confirmation, quotation and invoice, assessment, private findings discussion, publication, and badge decision. Payment and badge approval are separate steps: there is no automatic checkout, and payment does not start, shorten or decide any step of the assessment.
What we test
Every report uses these categories. For each one it shows what was tested, the result, evidence references, and limitations.
| Category | Testing points |
|---|---|
| Company identity | Legal name, trading name, official domain, office address, and the entity covered by the assessment. |
| Regulatory claims | Relevant register entries, licence details, authorised activities where available, and the relationship between the tested account and the listed entity. |
| Office visit | Visit date, location, premises observed, staff roles interviewed, and limits on access. |
| Account opening | Registration steps, identity checks, account agreements, clarity of entity information, and observed onboarding times. |
| Platform usability | Navigation, available functions, stability during testing, desktop and mobile experience where tested, and clarity of account information. |
| Costs and disclosures | Published fees, observed charges, spreads or commissions where applicable, and clarity of relevant terms. |
| Customer support | Channels tested, response times, usefulness of responses, and handling of selected questions. |
| Deposits and withdrawals | Methods tested, amounts, dates, observed processing times, charges, and any difficulties. Only marked tested when actual transactions occurred. Testing on a demo account never counts as deposit or withdrawal testing. |
| Trading functions | Order placement, modification, closing, and account records where applicable. Observations apply only to the conditions tested. |
| Complaints process | Accessibility of the published process and staff explanations. We do not claim that dispute resolution was tested unless an actual case was assessed. |
Each point is reported as “tested or checked”, “partially tested”, “not tested” or “not applicable”. Every point that is partially tested or not tested carries a short explanation.
“30-day testing” means a testing window of at least 30 days with documented activity throughout it. It is not continuous monitoring or full-time daily testing.
Requirements for the badge
A company receives the badge only if every requirement below is met. These are the complete requirements for programme version 1.0, published on 4 October 2026; there are no other pass thresholds. If they change, the new version is published here before it applies to anyone.
- Identity and scope checks completed. The assessed legal entity, office, platform and account type are recorded, and the company identity and regulatory claims checks are marked tested or checked.
- A verified licence. The assessed legal entity holds a current licence that we have checked on the regulator’s own register, so the badge can say “Licence verified”.
- A documented office visit that confirmed the office. The visit date, the office address, what we observed at the premises and the roles of the staff we met are recorded, and the office visit check is marked tested or checked. Each presence check is recorded and none is not met: a real office at the stated address (not a ghost address), used by the assessed entity, staffed and operating.
- The 30-day testing programme completed. The testing window lasts at least 30 days and has ended, and the testing record shows dated activity in every seven-day period of the window.
- Every testing point recorded. Each of the ten testing categories is marked tested or checked, partially tested, not tested or not applicable; every point that is partially tested or not tested has an explanation; and every point tested has a recorded outcome.
- Sufficient evidence. Every point marked tested, checked or partially tested cites at least one item in the evidence log.
- No unresolved material concern. Nothing we found contradicts the company’s stated identity or regulatory status, and any failed test transaction or other material problem was explained or resolved before the decision.
- Editorial approval. We review the full assessment and record the decision and the reasons for it.
We record the reasons for every approval and every refusal, and publish them in the report.
What the badge means
The Trading Trust Index Verification Badge confirms that the specified company and platform completed our assessment and met our published requirements at the time of review. It does not constitute regulatory approval or guarantee the safety of funds or future performance.
A badge covers the legal entity, office and platform named in the assessment. It does not mean that other companies in the same group were assessed.
A badge is valid for 12 months from the approval date, unless we withdraw it earlier because material information changes. We do not monitor the company continuously in between.
The badge is shown at the top of this page. On a company’s profile and website, each badge links to the assessment it belongs to and shows the year of approval.
Statuses
Each published review shows one of these statuses. Only an approved review carries the badge.
- Assessment in progress
- The review has started and the report is not final. At this stage we can issue only the Verified badge for the office visit, once our visit report confirms the office; it never says the platform was tested, and nothing about the platform outcome should be read into it.
- Approved
- The published requirements were met. The company receives a dated badge linked to the report.
- Not approved
- The review was completed, but the requirements were not met. The report says why.
- Expired
- The approval reached its expiry date, at most 12 months after approval, and has not been renewed by a new review.
- Withdrawn
- We withdrew the review, for example because material information changed. The reason is published.
Displaying the badge
An approved company can show the badge on its own website. The code is on its assessment page: it displays an image we host and links to the assessment. The image address never changes, and the image always shows the review’s current status, so an expired or withdrawn approval stops showing as verified. A downloaded copy may become outdated, so please use the hosted image.
The badge may not be altered, used for a different entity, office or platform, or used to suggest that other companies in the same group were assessed. We ask for any misleading use to be removed.
Commercial disclosure
The company pays for the assessment process and reporting. Payment does not guarantee badge approval, a favourable review, or a higher trust score. Company-funded assessments are disclosed in the published report.
The badge decision is separate from the trust score. The trust score gives points for what we verify in person: what our visit confirms about the office, and the outcomes of our on-site checks and testing. They are scored on what we find, so a poor result scores low. The fee pays for the work and earns no points. How the on-site assessment counts.
Fees are set out in TTI Assessment & Badge Fees below.
FAQs
How much does an assessment cost?
The fee depends on the office selected for inspection and the partner firm we work with there. The initial assessment fee is €14,000 for Cyprus, €17,300 for London, €21,600 for Dubai and €22,500 for Switzerland. The annual renewal fee is €5,800 for Cyprus, €6,400 for London, €8,000 for Dubai and €8,500 for Switzerland. Prices shown are excl. VAT.
Are travel and accommodation included?
Assessment fees exclude travel and accommodation. Where travel is required, the broker must cover the agreed arrangements and costs for the TTI representative. These arrangements must be confirmed before the office visit.
Can we choose which office is inspected?
Brokers operating across multiple countries may request an inspection at their preferred office. The applicable fee is determined by the selected inspection location.
The report and badge record will identify the office visited, legal entity assessed, and platform tested. Inspection of one office does not imply that every office or group entity has been inspected. Additional offices or entities require a separately agreed scope and quotation.
Pricing changes per location, based on the partner firm we work with for the inspection.
Does paying guarantee the badge?
The fee reflects the work involved in conducting the assessment. Payment does not guarantee badge approval or a favourable review.
Payment and badge approval are separate steps: the badge depends only on our published requirements.
How does the assessment affect our trust score?
Through what we verify in person. Up to 15 of the 100 trust score points are for physical verification: 5 for what our visit confirms about your office (real office at the stated address, not a ghost address; office of the assessed entity; staffed and operating) and 10 for the outcomes of our on-site checks and 30-day testing.
The office points count once our visit report is published, and the testing points once the decision is recorded. Both are scored on what we find: a check we cannot confirm earns nothing, and a poor result scores low. The fee pays for the work and earns no points.
Will we see the findings before publication?
Before publication, the broker is entitled to a private call with TTI to discuss the platform findings, clarify observations, and identify anything that may have been missed during testing.
The broker may provide supporting evidence for consideration. TTI will review relevant evidence and correct substantiated errors while retaining control over the final findings and verification decision.
How does annual renewal work?
Renewal requires a fresh assessment under the agreed renewal scope. Badge continuation remains conditional on meeting TTI’s published requirements. Any required travel and accommodation are additional.
