Skilling is a CFD broker run from Nicosia by Skilling Limited, a Cyprus investment firm licensed by CySEC since 2018, which serves clients in the European Economic Area. Skilling’s former international site now redirects to TradingMoon, a separately branded broker licensed in the Seychelles, which is not covered by this profile.
Research-based assessment This profile has not completed TTI’s on-site verification and 30-day platform review. How TTI verification works
Each licence was matched on the regulator’s own register on the date shown. Unverified claims are listed under Regulation and legal entities.
Assessment summary
Skilling Limited’s CySEC licence matches the regulator’s register, and it is the only company Skilling’s website names. Skilling’s website, document host and help centre answer automated requests with a browser check, so this review rests on registers and on Internet Archive copies of Skilling’s pages captured between October 2025 and October 2026. These show segregated client money, negative balance protection, membership of the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund, published leverage limits and charges, and a current risk warning saying 49% of retail accounts lose money. We could not read current copies of its client agreement, execution policy or withdrawal terms. We found no regulatory warnings or enforcement actions. Skilling does not say who owns it: press reports say a group led by Marc Joppeck, which also owns INFINOX, agreed in October 2025 to buy it, subject to regulatory approval, after years under the control of André Lavold; we found no official record of either. Its former international site now redirects to TradingMoon, a separately branded broker in the Seychelles. Its home page calls Skilling a multiple award-winning broker without naming the awards.
Key positives
Client-facing entities appear on the regulator’s register 12
Skilling Limited, the only company Skilling’s website names, appears on CySEC’s register under licence 357/18 with the same name, number and address.
Not met Skilling’s legal documents page includes no complaint statistics, and it has no UK or Australian company, so no regulator or ombudsman publishes figures for it.
Partly met Skilling lists a complaint handling policy among its legal documents and gives phone, live chat and email contacts with email replies within 24 hours, but no copy of the policy captured in the last 12 months exists in the archive, so we could not check its response times.
Partly met Skilling publishes minimum spreads, commissions per million traded, swap formulas with their mark-ups, crypto taker fees and the administrative fee on unleveraged crypto positions, but we found no currency conversion charge, inactivity fee or withdrawal charge on the pages we could read, and the Premium commission is given as USD 35 and USD 40 per million on different pages.
Partly met Skilling names the company that operates its website and describes a Skilling Group with offices in Cyprus, Malta and Spain, but does not say how the group is owned or organised, and does not explain why its former international site now sends visitors to TradingMoon, run by TM Trading Limited, whose entry on the Seychelles register gives a contact address at skilling.com.
