Assessment summary

Pepperstone publishes a complete, current set of legal documents for its UK and Bahamas businesses, including negative balance protection for retail clients, segregated client money, FSCS cover for UK clients and clear costs with no inactivity or withdrawal fees. We matched its Australian, UK, Cyprus, German and Seychelles companies on their regulators’ registers; the Bahamas licence could not be checked. Companies House identifies the individuals who control the UK company. The regulatory record is light: a 2023 ASIC report on self-reported leverage breaches that were compensated, a 2020 Brazilian stop order, and inclusion on India’s alert list. The Bahamas company offers leverage up to 1:1000 to professional clients, whose money may be moved out of segregation with their consent.
