LiteFinance, called LiteForex until November 2021, is a forex and CFD brand. Clients in the European Economic Area deal with Liteforex (Europe) Ltd, a Cyprus investment firm licensed by CySEC since 2008. International clients of litefinance.org deal with LiteFinance Global LLC in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which holds no licence, and a Mauritius company, LiteFinance Investment Limited, says it is licensed by the FSC Mauritius.
Research-based assessment This profile has not completed TTI’s on-site verification and 30-day platform review. How TTI verification works
Each licence was matched on the regulator’s own register on the date shown. Unverified claims are listed under Regulation and legal entities.
Assessment summary
LiteFinance’s EU company, Liteforex (Europe) Ltd, is on CySEC’s register, but CySEC authorises it to receive, transmit and execute orders, not to deal on its own account, while its execution policy says it trades with clients as principal. International clients of litefinance.org deal with LiteFinance Global LLC in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which has no licence, and we could not check the Mauritius company’s licence. EU clients get segregated client money, negative balance protection, the Investor Compensation Fund and the Cyprus ombudsman. The international agreement has no segregation term, lets the company cover a negative balance from a client’s other accounts and offers no independent redress, yet the international site says clients’ funds are insured by the Investor Compensation Fund. LiteFinance names no owners or managers and publishes no financial statements. Brazil’s CVM ordered its former international company to stop soliciting Brazilian residents in 2019, the brand is on alert lists in Russia, Malaysia and Brunei, and Indonesia blocked several of its websites in 2021.
Key positives
Clients can tell which regulated entity serves them 2347910
Each website names the company that operates it with its registration number and, where it has one, its regulator and licence; the registered offices page lists the companies, and each client agreement names the contracting company. The international site tells visitors from Cyprus that Liteforex (Europe) serves them.
CySEC’s register shows the Cyprus licence as current, with no suspension or restriction, and CySEC’s board decisions contain no measure against the company since a 2016 fine.
The websites and agreements give each company’s full name, registration number and registered address; the Cyprus details match the companies registry and the offshore details match GLEIF’s records.
The EU procedure gives a complaints email, form and address, acknowledgement generally within five business days and a decision generally within two months. The international agreement takes claims by email to the trading operations department and examines them within 14 working days, but only if they are made within three calendar days of the dispute and not disclosed to third parties before it is settled.
The international agreement says withdrawals are transferred within 1 to 3 banking days without company fees and may be deferred for up to 14 working days for checks, and the FAQ says requests are processed within one working day. The EU terms commit to transfers within three business days, and both sites list payment methods, minimums and processing times.

Client-facing entities appear on the regulator’s register 1234
We matched Liteforex (Europe) Ltd, which serves EU clients, on CySEC’s register under licence 093/08. The FSC Mauritius register puts automated requests through a bot check, so LiteFinance Investment Limited’s licence is shown as claimed, and LiteFinance Global LLC, which serves international clients through litefinance.org, names no regulator, so there is no register entry to match.
CySEC’s register shows the Cyprus licence as current, with no suspension or restriction, and CySEC’s board decisions contain no measure against the company since a 2016 fine.
CySEC authorises Liteforex (Europe) Ltd to receive, transmit and execute client orders and to manage portfolios, but not to deal on its own account. Its terms say it executes as its clients’ agent under an STP or ECN model, yet its best execution policy says it acts as principal and not as agent. LiteFinance Global LLC offers CFDs to international clients without a licence.
Partly met
Regulatory claims on the website are accurate 1349
The CySEC licence LiteFinance states matches the register, and its registered offices page says the St Vincent company has no regulator. We could not confirm the FSC Mauritius licence GB20025921.

Corporate transparency and ownership 13% of score 52 out of 100
Whether you can find out who owns and runs the firm.
The websites and agreements give each company’s full name, registration number and registered address; the Cyprus details match the companies registry and the offshore details match GLEIF’s records.
LiteFinance refers to its group of companies but names no owners. GLEIF reports no consolidating parent for the Cyprus company and that the parents of the Mauritius and St Vincent companies are not public, the free Cyprus registry search does not show shareholders, and the Cyprus company publishes no prudential disclosures. We found no official record that names who owns LiteFinance.
LiteFinance lists its three companies and the clients each serves, and says the obligations of LiteForex Investments Limited passed to LiteFinance Global LLC in November 2021, but it does not explain how the companies are owned or related.
We found no directors or senior managers named on LiteFinance’s websites or in its documents, and the Cyprus company publishes no prudential disclosures that would name its board.
The EU terms keep client money segregated from the company’s money and out of its business. The international agreement contains no segregation term; LiteFinance’s registered offices page says the unregulated St Vincent company holds client funds in segregated accounts “for security reasons”. We did not review the Mauritius company’s terms.
Partly met
Retail clients have negative balance protection 710171819
EU retail clients have negative balance protection under the terms. The international agreement resets a negative balance to zero once no positions are open, but lets the company cover a negative balance from the client’s other accounts and by rejecting withdrawals in exceptional circumstances, and its risk disclosure warns that losses can exceed the initial payment.
EU clients are covered by the Investor Compensation Fund, up to the lower of 90% of covered claims and EUR 20,000. LiteFinance’s own registered offices page says no compensation scheme covers clients of the Mauritius and St Vincent companies.

Banking and custody arrangements are disclosed 2223
The EU site names AS LPB Bank in Latvia as the bank for wire deposits. Neither company names the banks that hold client money, and the international payment pages name no bank.

LiteFinance publishes ECN commissions and CLASSIC mark-ups by instrument, swap rates in its contract specifications, the international dormancy fee of USD 10 every 30 days, the EU dormant account fee of EUR 3 a month, and payment fees. The EU terms allow an extra charge on currency conversion for which we found no figure, and the international agreement does not address conversion charges.
The EU best execution policy sets out the execution factors and names IS Prime and CFH Clearing as venues, a conflicts of interest policy is published, and the 2024 execution statement names the venues used. But the policy says the company acts as principal while the terms say it acts as its clients’ agent, and the international company publishes no execution policy; its pages only say that ECN orders go to liquidity providers with no conflict of interest.

Addresses, phone numbers and emails are published, and the St Vincent and Mauritius addresses match GLEIF’s records. The Cyprus company gives 30 Spyrou Kyprianou, Germasogeia, while CySEC’s register and its own levels of client protection document give 124 Gladstonos Street, Limassol.
Documents are dated, the international agreement gives 7 calendar days’ email notice of changes and the EU terms at least 5 working days, and the home page lists company news such as instrument removals.
